everything is food food food

it's been a FOOD weekend!!!

After the run on Saturday i showered and had a breakfast of champions...McDonald's!!! i hardly ever eat at McD's, but breakfast there with an iced coffee sounded so yum!!!

Saturday was pretty much my perfect day. I can't describe how much i loved all the moments of this day. I TRULY relaxed. After the run, Daniel & I just laid in bed trying to take a nap, but ended just talking for a few hours. It was so fun to lay in bed at noon on a Saturday and know i could sleep the rest of the day if i wanted.

I have no idea the last time that has ever happened.

To celebrate our 9 months and use some of our 'date' money, we went to our fave Indian restaurant and pigged out. Chicken tikka, tandoori chicken, dal, naan, lamb, potatoes, rice stuff, and beef something....omg!!!!!!

Then we settled at home with a glass of a wine and i introduced Daniel to another part of his childhood that he had missed. (remember ET?)

anyone????

i've been singing the songs to Daniel forever now and he had no clue what i was talking about!!!

"he's large........"

"i will gladly pay you Tuesday for a hamburger today..."

anyone???

We rented it after dinner and watched it. I think it was funnier when i was 6, but still a classic!!

Today was Food Food Food!!!

First, I made my first ever peanut butter chocolate chip cookies.......they came out good, but don't taste that peanut buttery and i even added a extra half cup of pb....hmmmm...

THEN I just found out who this "Pioneer Woman" everyone is talking about really is. I thought she was some lady who cooked from the Oregon Trail days.....no, she's real.

I found this recipe for spaghetti and meatballs. Normally, i do not like spaghetti or meatballs. but the recipe looked too good not to try!!

this sauce was AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

time to eat!!!

i don't want to brag, but i think most of my pics turned out to look a lot like hers. i was SO proud to make homemade meatballs and spaghetti sauce!!!!!

yum yum yum!!!!!

hope everyone had  a great weekend and relaxed and ate!!

love laura
